Does anyone know anything about the screen protectors that you can buy for the Ipaq? When I placed mine on to the screen (I tried to get rid of all the bubbles), the Ipaq didn't recognize anything I done with the stylus. Could it be a faulty sheet or has anyone else had this problem?

I bought Fellowes WriteRight Micro-Thin Screen Protectors for Compaq iPAQ from STAPLES. The size is a little bigger than h1910 screen, but you can trim it. It works well.

I also use the WriteRight ones and for the cost, they can be replaced often. THey may not be as nice as the others that are avaiabile but they cost a lot less and come on sale often at CompUSA.

The first time I used a screen protector the IPAQ didn't have a clue where my Stylus was located. I thought there were no bubbles.
I now use the end of a credit card to carefully expel air when putting it on. This has fixed the problem without having to change brand.
It might be worth a try.

Hello,
a good way to get the bubbles out or even no bubbles at all is to make you screen a little bit wet with water and a drop of soap. You than place the screen protector on your PDA and carefuly press the foil on the screen. After it is dry the foil sits perfect on the screen.
Careful, I said a little bit of water not to give it shower!!

Sorry to be negative but I recently tried the fellows product and found it unacceptable for 2 reasons.
It's very difficult to apply (bubbles, misalignment, etc)
It retains score marks everytime you use the stylus to write or tap. After a few days the effect becomes very noticeable when viewing and writing. This problem may be due to a recent change in the product formulation.
I'm still looking for a good screen protector, any suggestions?

SteveMG is correct about the dings in the screen protector but this is one of the advantages on this protector is that if that bothers you, you can change to a new one with just a little money lost. Where other ones last a lot longer but cost a great deal more.

Thanks for the info. I've purchased the Belkin PDA Screen Overlays from Staples and even though I'm not finding it perfect it is useable and it reduces the glare. If anyone knows of any other shops that sells PDA products then please let me know as it was good purchasing something for my PDA in a shop rather than waiting for it to arrive in the post.
