H5450 CF Card Issue

I have a H5450, with a CF Jacket (the one with a battery). I have a Sandisk SD card in the H5450 and a Sandisk CF Card in the Jacket. All has been working fine until today when I receive an error messaging saying "Unrecognized Card" and asking for the name of the device driver for this card.

The card is obviously not readable. I have already tried a soft reset with no success.

Can anyone help.

Have you tried formatting the CF card?
I fiond that id that happens a few times of taking the sleeve on and off with the initialization process will make it read

Did you ever figure out what was causing the "unrecognized card" problem? I, now, am having the same problem and cannot figure it out. I have a 3955 with the cf expansion pack. The cards have worked flawlessly for several months. Now, with no system changes, I get the "unrecognized card" error asking me to enter the name of the device driver for this card. If I take the card out I can read it in my laptop's card reader but not in my Ipaq. I've tried the soft reset but no luck. This problem is happening with ALL my cards now -- Viking and Sandisk. Any help would be appreciated.

Try this. Take off the expansion sleeve. Do a soft reset. Then put the expansion sleeve back in without the CF card. Then put the CF cards in.
