Address Book Synchronization

All of sudden synchronization of my address book from my m515 has become partially and now completely impossible. Palm Support can only recommend reinstallling desktop which doesn't work. Does anyone else have an answer?

If the data on your desktop is current and ok, then you might try to do a hard reset to reload your handheld, assuming of course you have already tried a soft reset.

Tried a soft reset which didn't help. My desktop lacks any address book entries. They're only complete on the handheld so I'm loathe to try any other kind of reset.

In your hotsync custom how do you have the address book set?

Settings were fine. But I've now fixed the problem by deleting a couple of blank entries (just appeared as "unnamed") which had materialised at the top of the file (ahead of the first 'A'). I don't know why, but everything is back to normal. Does this make me an expert?
