I have my Malaysian netBook up and running again, but am having a problem trying to install EpocSync. I keep getting a message, "A problem occured while copying D:\System\Apps\EpocSync\EpocSyne.aif".
Strange, because before I had to do a hard reset (due, I think, to installing NoMore), I had EpocSync up and running.
Any ideas, anyone?

Have you tried deleting the EpocSync.aif file before installing? What about deleting the entire EpocSync folder?
Have you tried installing to the C drive?
Have you tried a soft reset?
Maybe NoMore is a nasty hack that you shouldn't use?

Tried both.

No.

Yes.

I *definitely* did not install NoMore!!!
Now for the good news. I had been trying to install via my PC, which I always do. I then copied the sis file to the netBook's D drive and used the Add/Remove function. It installed with no problem.
Maybe I'll now remember to use that method if I ever come across an app which has a problem installing via the PC. This was the first occurrence for me.

Installing via the PC is known to be buggy. I never do so, although I couldn't anyway since I don't use Windows normally.
