I just bought an used ipaq 3850 and now I'm planing to bye a cellphone. My question is what options/choices do I have to connect my ipaq to the internet via a cellphone and what cellphone should i bye. the 3850 has neither I-red nor bluetoth which makes for a cable connection between the units.

I had my eye on the ericsson T200 or Ti68 would any of those work and what cables would i need ?

Thanks for any help...

Im a bit confused. I think the IPAQ 3850 is identical to my 3835 from a hardware standpoint. That does have infrared, I have used it to connect with a Psion travel modem. You could also use a cable. I think any phone that will let you connect to an ISP on your preferred carrier and has either an IR connector or available cable (check thesupplynet.com) should work. Maybe others will chime in from your geographic area and can provide more detailed information.

Your right it has an IR connector...
Allthough I rather not use IR, what kind of cable should I use to connect the ipaq though I found a cable that provides Serial port and one for usb. How am i supposed to use any of those with the ipaq, is there some kind of module...

Sorry for acting stupid I'm realy new to this...
