tungsten-t sound

hmm, i reslised the sound(speaker) is kinda sucks. I already installed the patch. Is it because of the game i installed not written for tungten-t ? i compared some games with my TT and with my friend Clie, his sound much better.

I think generally the Sony devices are aimed more at the "consumer" end of the market and tend to have better multimedia capabilities. I'm still not giving mt Tungsten up though!

Maybe its just me, but I was floored when I first heard an MP3 through my TT's speaker...and I've owned a Clie T665! If you wanted to hear MP3's on the Sony you HAD to have earphones. Unless you knew what the song was that was playing the speaker was useless. Definitely NOT enjoyable. But my TT...Oh, my! I have to say that it is the BEST sounding little music machine I've ever heard. Is it just me? Please, let me know that I'm not hearing things!

i really like the sound of the tungstens speaker, it's great, the mp3 is great too...exept the battery life ofcourse...

Are you keeping the screen on or off? I set Aeroplayer to turn the screen off after 10secs and I can get hours of playback.

i dunno if my speaker is faulty or not. too bad i can't compare (TT vs TT)with my colleagues, they are using sony.

Take yours to Circuit City or Best buy and beam an MP3 player to their demo TT and see. I can't believe that the Sony's sound is better from an MP3 standpoint anyway. Now if you are comparing alarm sounds, well Sony's have polyphonic capability which ROCKS! But I use my MP3 player more than I use my alarms so for me there is no issue.

ninelives, yes I have to agree with you. Because Sony's are polyphonic capable games designed to take advantage of it are going to Rock big time compared to our TT.

Ninelives- I think you are using the latest version of Bejewled. For some reason it has rubbish sound- you need to downgrade to the previous release then sound will be fine

I am playing Zap! and GTS. try it, both sound very funny on TT.

yes, I also use the same settings, I've been charging my tungsten for some time now, and I've been listening to music in almost 1 hour and it's still at 100% battery life!
Everything works geat now!

oooops sorry! We had that prob with bejewled bfore. Are you sure it isn't just that they have really bad sound effects? GTS aound effects are awful to me too- same on my iiic as TT...
