eVB Emulator

Hi,
I'm new to eVB and have just installed 2002 edition. I cant get the emulator connected. Sometimes I get a messagebox saying "Waiting for connection", other times "The control fsMain ({3F0C2794-5C3A-11D1A717-00AA0044064C}) could not be created, and sometimes "A general error occured in the CE platform Manager.Verify that CE Platform Manager has been installed correctly.
I have removed and installed, and reinstalled eVB 3.0 - 2002 several times and the installation seems to go ok. Anyone has any idea what can be wrong?

Hi,

Had you intall SDK plataform for windows CE?
Have you got a PDA emulator in your Computer? Does it work's?

I think you must download SDK plataform. It must be to work with eVB. You can download from Microsoft.

I have installed and reinstalled SDK platform several times, and it's the emulator that dont work. The PDA works and debugs the programs but not the emulator.

I use W2K and I have no problems. I had try to uninstall and reinstall SDK plataform and it worked Ok.

I know that SDK plataform doesn't works with Win 98. Have you got it?

Hi!
I've gone thru the same exact problem as u. what I did was, I installed the microsoft network adapter, which can b downloaded from the net. by installing this, u don't have to b connected to the network in order to run the Pocket PC 2002. make sure u install this thru control panels-> add/remove hardware. good luck n don't stop trying!
