If you would please clarify your question:
1). Are you simply trying to HotSync with the Palm Desktop on your PC?
2) How is Avantgo involved?
3) Have you been unable to HotSync since downloading Avantgo?
4). Is your Palm 125 not working?

ok, lets get a few things noted: I went to "Avantgo and printed out directions on how to hotsync. When I tried i could not do anything. When I tried to turn my m125 it would not turn on. I finally found batteries that had enough life to turn it on. I tried to hotsync last night in a USB, and it said that that device was being used by another device.
I don't know what is happening.
HELP!!

I hope this helps you some!

I suspect that your problem might have nothing to do with Avantgo at all. I could be wrong, but.....
Try this, especially if you typically leave your computer on 24/7:
1. Install brand new, full power batteries in M125
2. Soft reset the M125
3. Turn computer completely off after proper shutdown procedures
4. Disconnect cradle from PC's USB port
5. Reboot computer
6. Connect cradle
When I have had intermittent problems with having the device recognized, this has taken care of it. I have also had to go into the system (via Control Panel) to specify that a Palm device is connected to the USB ports.

I agree (as usual) with djmangen. In addtion, when ever you intended to add a large amount of new file material to your Palm you need to be sure that you have good batteries. A long hotsync can stress the battery's reserves.
