Synchronising addresses and calendar

Sorry to bother you all, but I was hoping someone might be able to help with a problem I'm having synchronising my calendar and address book. I use Microsoft outlook on my PC, and, until recently, had no problem syncing both of these to my Clie (N770CU). Clie support are rude and unhelpful, so I was wondering if some kind soul might be able to suggest an answer. I've checked that the custom is set up to synchronise the files, and what's strange is that if I input an address on the handheld, it uploads that to my outlook address book or calendar when syncing - but nothing works the other way.

I really would be very grateful for any help.
