Have you tried Adobe's Java Acrobat Reader? It may be too old to work, but it has the best chance of working. If you don't want to go to the trouble of getting Acrobat to work (and then maybe discover it doesn't work), then I would be willing to test such a PDF document myself: Either make a post here (remember the 100Kb limit), or tell me where I can download one (preferably the full URL), or if all else fails send a private message asking for my email address so you can mail it to me. Regards, Chris Handley cangiante 04-20-2003, 05:49 AM I am interested in such a possibility too. therefore I will also look for such a pdf document for you. cshandley 04-25-2003, 06:26 AM Cangiante, I was unable to get the Java Acrobat Reader to let me fill in the form you sent me :( cangiante 04-25-2003, 08:00 AM thank you anyway Chris for your commitment! shall I get another .pdf questionnaire? donkeyontheedge 04-25-2003, 09:33 AM Don't know if this will help but it's another avenue to explore. Found this whilst browsing around for PDF readers for JAVA. Basically, Adobe forms use an FDF file format to store the forms data. I tried to look for JAVA programs to create FDF files but noy joy - not directly anyway. I found this site (http://www.ant.uci.edu/jgi/plunk.html) which talks about creating FDF files from standard web forms using JGI (Like CGI but for JAVA) So in theory, you have some web forms on your netbook which you can fill out, send the resulting data to this program (probably only on a PC) which would create an FDF file. Opening this would bring up your PDF file with all the fields populated! It's a bit round-the-houses but it might just work. You would obviously need to develop a set of web forms that parallel your PDF forms but that might be the only option open to you. Hope this helps John PDA Street
