This thing has a 2.5" jack that Palm says "allows you to attach headset". This is NOT a standard stereo headphone connectory, but rather the kind of thing you would find on a cellphone. So am I assuming you can't use this to play back your mp3's?
That would really be a bummer. I was about ready to buy one (I tried it out today at CompUSA).

You *can* play MP3s, but only in Mono. Disappointing indeed. I'll stick with my TT for now.

Not without Wi-Fi it isn't. I'll stick with my Clie for now. Stupid Palm. How hard would a stereo audio jack have been? They completely destroyed this device for multimedia.

I'm suprised at Palm, they seem to think that if the machine is designed for the corporate market, then no-one would be interested in "entertainment" features. You would think that pocket PCs & Sony devices would have shown them otherwise!

As I don't have a TC I don't know much about this but pocket tunes has been updated to support TC. Try that:

I really won't be able to beleive it if the Tungsten C can't play stereo music.

Believe it, the TC physically cannot output stereo sound. PocketTunes will only be able to play in mono.
