My Device? Built in memory? Memory Card? which is which?

I just bought my Dell Axim and I am wondering about some stuff in the "Memory" part of settings. It shows me that there is "built in memory"... what is it? is it the card that comes with the axim? it is only 5mb and the main memory is 32mb? which is which?
