How do I get support for direct sending of Jpeg to my TT? I have AcidImage installed on my TT (love this program). I do not use Versamail for e-mail, but I know that Jpeg's as attachments can be done. I get a "Data recieved in unknown format" error. It is a standard, 640x480 Jpeg from my Nokia 3650. I can't think why this won't work, any ideas???

Splash Photo is a good JPEG viewer, and in Preferences on the app you can check of "default system JPEG viewer" and it might work.

2.The simplest way is just insert your (MMC +jpeg) from your 3650 onto your TT SD/MMC slot and you can view, save and rotate as you wish on TT!
I use this method with my digital camera SD/MMC and use TT as image viewer using 2.15x2.15 inches screen and 320x 320 resolution as a miniature monitor!
i have tried with 200+ photos taken with my digi still camera and presto view instantly on TT(swap the cards)
i use acid image/photbase for slideshows and use acid image for detail viewing and 360 degree rotation +660+sequential zooming function on acid image(the reason for choosing over splash photo therfore my choice is acid image)
2.Use irda (infra red beam to your TT without any problems for a couplesof photo not hundreds..just keep LOS (line 0f sight) beam both TT and your 3650
3,Do not use BT for transfer large images/jpegs {(TT have limited on board ram therefore large files such as photo jpegs are a bit tricky to send via BT but not with beaming (infra-red)} Unfortunately you cannot send photo directly to card wirelessly if i am not mistaken
I use both (acid image as well as photobase for e mail attachment -versamail viewing
You do need to use save to card function on versamail attachment and viewable on basically any photoviewer with versamail
4.another option is SD reader/writer will do the job very efficiently.!
Enjoy!

thank you for the help, I have a reader, and IR does not work either. I do not use SplashPhoto as it cannot (from what I was able to gather) allow the reading of standard files, they have to be converted from the desktop. WHen I'm at home - I can transfer them many ways, the goal is to this away from home/office using just the phone and the TT. I'm not worried about volume or speed, I'm only doing at most three or four pics at a time, and if its more, I understand it will be slow.
While taking the MMC out of the phone everytime would work, its honestly a pain, if it was just a slot - then it would be fine, but turning off phone, remove cover, remove battery then card just doesn't cut it. But - I will try SplashPhoto again to see if it works at least. Anyone know any way to do it with AcidImage, as I already bought it???

No Splash photo doesn't need its photos converting as long as they are on the SD card. BUt it might need thgem putting in a specific directory. Splash Photo only needs to convert the Jpgs to PBD if you want to store images on the main RAM.

Iuse acid image and photobase without any conversion
Any Native jpeg works brilliantly on both
Enjoy
I prefer acid image 2.5
similarly i use both for view/save with e mail j peg attachment on versamail email messages!

Well, SplashPhoto did fix the BT and IR sending of pics, so now, I send them to it, then use Filez to move them to the proper folder, and then use AcidImage from that point on. I will e-mail red-mercury today and see if they can add this feature so I can remove SplashPhoto. I don't want to move them all to the Palm folder as it is less organized to me that way
