I have quite a bad problem. due to problems with bluetooth hotsync, idecided to de-install the entire TT desktop s/w from my pc. Windows installer wanted the CD-01 inserted and once accessed, complained about an invalid transform path. I contacted Palm support and with their advice removed the folders from Program files and the registery. The s/w is still 'installed' in the program remove panel.

This has something to do with MSIEXEC and the MST file that should reside on the CD-01. I cannot find this file, it may be imbedded in the autorun exec. Has anyone had this problem.

I cannot do an install, or a repair as the invalid transform path message pops up everytime.

It sounds like your installation has become corrupted. Have you tried re-installing it & then trying to remove it, or failing that, re-installing it & using something like Norton Systemworks to remove it?

Hi Bill,
thanks for the quick response, i have tried to re-install and it complains of the same problem. I think you are correct, something is corrupted. Short of re-installing XP on my notebook, maybe this could be my last resort to get Norton Systemworks and give it another chance.

According to our software development guys, they said i must do an msiexec force install but i need the filename which i cant find on the CD.

Is there no way to sort this out in the registery?

You've gone beyond my knowledge there, I'm afraid!
