Finally Palm gets a great PDA out there, Not since the old Palm IIIc has palm made any real strides towards leading the market in the Palm OS based devices. Sony has pretty much made all the recent Palm OS PDA's that were worth buying. But they change their models monthly, and after I played with a Tungeston and a NX70v I was pretty sure that Pocket PC was going to win this PDA war. Palm OS5 was buggy and the prices kept going up while PocketPC OS was getting more stable and their prices were going down.
Then much to my surprise Palm comes out with Two terrific PDA's, one has more memory than any other Palm based PDA, WIFI, and Keyboard while the other has a camera, fast processor and great INCLUDED Software for movies and MP3's. It's also a nice looking PDA and feels great in your hand.
But best of all it's only 299.00, hurray a great price....the new Palm Desktop has a great picture add on for the camera. Now I will admit the camera is a little low res, but it works fine for Email or just a fast picture. Also the new interface for adding programs to the SD memory card is great.
All in All way to go palm, thank you for keeping the PDA market open and non Microsoft dominated......Just one little bit of advice pay attention to sony's Flip lids people love those.........
