bSquare has NT-based USB drivers that offer limited functionality--enough to get an e310 docking station working. Unfortunately, it does not work with the e740. See below for an email from their technical support.

Thanks for inquiring about our USB for NT 4.0 product. Our response would be a good news/bad news scenario. The good news is that our product does work with Toshiba's e310 model. A few months ago, we had several customers who wanted to wide deployments within their companies. In all cases we were able to get our product working with the Toshiba.
The bad news is that our product does not work with the Toshiba's e740 model. We tried out an update but never got it working and since then other projects have taken over. That said, it is still possible that our USB for NT 4.0 product may not work on someone's NT machine due to incompatibility between their USB host controller and our software. It's rare that this happens but we do offer a 30 day money back guarantee from the day of download if our software doesn't work with your device.
If you know of a company that is looking to do a widescale deployment, it's probably best to have them purchase one copy to try it out and then if it does they can purchase licenses in bulk at that time. We don't have an 'eval' version of the product so folks do have to purchase it first to try it out. We get a large number of folks who try to get our software working with a Palm OS based device and we always refund their money.
