Treo keyboard shortcuts for datebook

I'm trying to find a keyboard shortcut in the datebook that lets you get to the details page for an appointment. More specifically I'd like to enter a new appointment and set an alarm without pulling out the stylus (or mashing my fingerprints onto the screen). "details" shows up as a button on the bottom of the screen, but, as far as I can tell, is nowhere in the menus.

Any ideas?

I don't know about the Treo specifically, but you can usually create a new appointment by starting to enter a time -- if the appointment is at 9am, try just typing a 9, and see if that starts a new appointment for you.

That works for creating the appointment, but once you enter the start/stop times, it kicks you back out to the one-day view, and the only way (that I have found) to set an alarm is to press the "Details" button on the screen. It just seems like this should be one of the menu options.
