Jornada 680 users please return

Well, it took me a while to even FIND the place - I kept looking for the old web-page layout. But I got plenty of help from the old board and I gave what I could as well. So I am hoping that other Jornara users will register and use this board.

My first question is: where are the old posts? are they still searchable or readable? A link to them would be helpful, as much of what was put up before was generally helpful.

I agree! The old posts had a lot of content that I liked to read and it would be great if we could have access to them. I have a Jornada 690 that would have been garbage if I didn't run across the repair with the TASCALREGEDIT 7.0 advice.

We should have the old message boards up as an archive sometime tomorrow. We also plan on converting some of the content into a FAQ over time so it will be easier for people to get the info they need.

That will be great to have the old posts still be accessible.

One thing that is not very workable about "a Jornada" forum is the fact that the Jornad models are so varied. This is much more of a problem with the Jornada than other PDA's.

As you see, Steve Caspan has started a 680/690 forum or his own. That is actually what this device needs, due to the fact that you can waste a lot of time on general Jornada topics only to find out that they don't even apply to the 680 (including finding and testing good software.)

Still, thanks for making the old posts accessible.
