Howdy folks.
I've been going through the treads, but haven't been able to find a solution to my problem.
I've been having problems mounting my Clie N710C (that was successfully upgraded to the N760C) onto my Win2000 computer. In other words (in case I'm using the wrong termonology) I can not transfer files to my Clie memory stick. The problem is not with the Clie b/c I am able to transfer files with my other OLD computer (circa 1997) to the same Clie with the same N760C upgrade. (I think the computer runs Win98, but I don't remember. Not Win2000.) So, why can't I get it to work? Hot sync works fine.
I'm assuming that it's something to do with the USB drivers on the Win2000 computer, but I'm afraid to mess around with the USB drivers in the Device Manager. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall all of the Sony Desktop, MS Export, etc. programs. When I do the first hotsync after reinstalling the programs, the plug-n-play kicks in and appears to be loading the proper drivers. I've even done a few hard resets on the Clie, but still can't transfer files on this computer to the Clie.
Anyone got any good ideas on this one?
