I've been digging around on the palm FAQ site (http://kp.palm.com), and found the following.
What to do if you cannot get the AeroPlayer application provided by Aerodrome Software to work with the Palm™ Tungsten™ C handheld
In order to use AeroPlayer and other 3rd party audio applications you must first install Voice memo included on CD2 that shipped with your handheld. Installing Voice Memo includes necessary sound codecs which will enable audio applications to function properly on your Palm™ Tungsten™ C.
For further troubleshooting on specific 3rd party audio applications consult with the manufacturer’s website.
