Turning off Display during MP3 playback

Does anyone know how to turn off the display during mp3 playback in order to conserve power? The Clie has a Hold mode which turns off the hard buttons and display. Any apps out there to do this on the 71?

It says that RealOne Mobile Player lets you "conserve battery power with auto-dimming capabilities." Maybe there is an option for this directly in the application.

Yes, it turns out (or off, I should say :-) ) that the display turns off automatically after a certain amount of time, but I don't know if that is just a function of the OS's preference settings.
