Palm Desktop

I'm a fairly new Palm user. I'm finding the Palm Desktop very difficult to work with. I just started a job that requires me to work one of four different shifts. Well, I can enter the shift in as an event, but apparently there is no way to copy and paste the same event to different days. All I can do is use the repeat function if I happen to have the same shift for two or more consecutive days.
I'm amazed that such a basic ability is not a function of the software. Am I missing something? Is there a way to do this or is there another desktop program that will allow me to copy events from one day to another?

How would I do that? Suppose, for example I had the same shift on Monday the 4th, wed the 6th, thurs the 7th, tues the 12 and Saturday the 16th.

It seems so basic just to be able to copy the event from one day, right click on the other days and paste.

you are going to have to do it from week to week i think but in the weekly repeat you can select multipul days, or you can repeat it everyday and deleat the ones you don't need
