Multiple Palm Pilot Hot Sync

Hi, I have two palm pilots that I want to stay sync'd with each other and the palm desktop. When I set up the second palm pilot, it gave it a separate identity. Is there a way to have two palm pilots with the same identity so they can share info with each other and the desktop when they sync?....thanks, Bill

try palmname, it is capable of changing your id & id-code, if you make both the same on both devices hotsync should think they are one and the same.

Palmname is hard to find. Try ChangeName, you can find it at PalmGear.com. You can change the HotSync ID with changename but the conduit manager will still look for the last Hotsync time on both palms and they will be different. Sometimes this is not a problem other times it will refuse to recognize the newly renamed palm. Set the conduits to PC Overwrites handheld on the first sync with the newly renamed unit. Best life saver is to make a copy of your entire Palm folder before you try this. Lets hope yours accepts both.
