Beam to himself

I updated my palmV to os 4.1, it works fine, but I can't beam to other devices! When I want to beam, it seems like I beam the data to my own palm, because he asks me shortly after pressing the "beam" button, if I want to accept the application into the application folder. He never tries to search other devices. But the strange thing is, that I can receive data from other palms. Does anyone have a solution to my problem?

Have you done a soft reset on your Palm since this problem started? If not, please do so.
Did you use the Palm Upgrade CD?
Many of the ROMs that are floating around on the net are not true upgrade quality they were copied off of a 4.1OS unit.

You were right! I only had to do a soft reset. Was really easy to solve, thanks a lot!!!

Just think of the soft reset as equivalent to a reboot on the PC. It tends to clean the deck of any hung up trash.
