New PCs still come with 9-pin serial ports, although serial ports are sometimes turned off at the motherboard. The HotSync connector is the same as the one for the Palm III, IIIc, VII, m100. Midwest PCB Designs makes adapters so that you can use newer Palm PDAs with older accessories. You wanted to go the other way? PDA Street
