hey im plannin to by the zire 71. is there any thing i should by with it?

The only accessories it comes with are the hotsync cradle and a cheap, but functional case. If you're planning on using it for mp3s, you'll want to pick up an SD memory card. Other than that it's whatever you want extra.

Definitely get a Secure Digital card if you plan on using the multimedia features.

You may also want to purchase a keyboard if you will be typing long documents on the Zire 71.

I would just wait until you get the handheld and see if any accessory becomes necessary. Look through this page to see what's out there.
