I've been thinking about getting the Zire 71, but I heard somewhere that the newest driver for the Palm folding keyboard doesn't work with OS 5.21. Is that just one person's experience, or is there a real problem? Does anyone know?

I've also heard that there's a problem using the Ultrathin keyboard with Launcher X -- which I'm currently using on my Prism.

I'm dreaming about a new Zire, but I really use my keyboard a lot!

Well, considering that Palm.com has the Portable Keyboards listed under Zire 71 accessories, I would assume that the Keyboard drivers do work.

Give it a few weeks or a month or so...the drivers will be there to support the keyboard. Since OS 5.2.1 is new to the market, the 3rd party keyboard vendors have to keep up. I'm willing to bet they're working on it already.

Try contacting your keyboard's vendor with the 5.2.1 driver question and see what they say.
