I have been synchronising my Revo with my old computer (Windows 98, Outlook) with no problems. I have recently got a new computer (Windows XP, Outlook 2000 Professional) but have not managed to synchronise properly since then. The Synchroniser asks me which file on the Revo I would like to synchronise Outlook with, but the Revo "Contacts' program doesn't exit as a discreet file, unlike the other data files. Is it because PsiWin only works with Windows 98 (as it says on the packet) or am I doing something wrong?

First thing to check is your version of PsiWin. As far as I know, WinXP will require PsiWin 2.3.3.

Outlook 2000 shouldn't be a problem because that's the version I have but, as Julie says, you will need version 2.3.3 of PsiWin for WinXP.
but the Revo "Contacts' program doesn't exit as a discreet file, Yes, it does, Contacts.cdb in the path
C:\System\Data\Contacts.cdb

Many thanks for the prompt advice, Psiwin 2.3.3 was what I needed.
I have one other (long standing) query though, not all the fields in the Revo Contacts synchronised with the Outlook contacts. I know this is because some of the fields don't match e.g. there is no "pager" field in Outlook. Psion Help tells me I can match the fields using the "Advanced" Feature in Psion Synchroniser, but when I tried, that feature was in grey type i.e. not available. Does anyone out there have a solution to this?
I am truly grateful for your advice!

Hello,

Psion Help tells me I can match the fields using the "Advanced" Feature in Psion Synchronizer, but when I tried, that feature was in grey type i.e. not available.

When synchronizing with the Contacts Program PsiWin uses the vCard standard for synchronization and no advanced field mapping options are available. If you are synchronizing your Outlook contacts with an EPOC Data file, then you could custom mapping fields.
