Palm SD Bluetooth with Zire 71?

Hi everyone,

Does the Palm SD Bluetooth card work with the Zire 71? If not, any rumors if Palm will come out with software that will allow the Zire 71 to work with it? I really want to keep the Zire 71 to use with a bluetooth phone.

Hi George, Apparently there are some rumors of Bluetooth capability coming for the Zire 71. You might want to watch this thread:

Thanks, but I hope to hear an official word soon since I only have 14 days to make a decision(CompUsa return policy). I really like the Zire 71, but want bluetooth to use a cell phone to connect to the internet. I'm ready to let the Zire 71 go since there's a free camera from Palm anyway....Thanks

Cindy Cindy, The link was fine. Your typing was not (you pasted twice.

But according to Palm's FAQ pages BT SD card is not supported under OS5.

And it's only rumor that they're working on new drivers. I wouldn't hold my breath. :D
