Problem connecting Axim with Win2000

Hello,

Looking for a little help with an issue I'm having with my Axim being unable to connect to Windows 2000. I have the X5 with rom version A00.

My problem is simple, with ActiveSync 3.6, I can't get it to connect with my Axim. It recognizes that the USB is available, but does nothing about it. It simply continues to attempt to reconnect.

I've been successful in connecting a Compaq on the same machine but on 2 Win 2000 machines, the Axim won't pick up from the USB port.

Uninstall AS 3.6, then install AS from the Axim CD. I had to do this too.

Be sure you don't connect the cable from the Axim to the PC until AS asks you to.
