i tried the trick.

for some reason occasionally i get the find app, when tapping on the bottom left. i don't quite see the point in it anyway, i have my voice memo button mapped to launcherX & you can also use the centre button aswell.

anyway after trying SlideFree i think i prefer Okey for bringing up the menu, & find always freezes my tt, & i never change the brightness.
