Updates That Everyone Would Kill For!

Hey Guys,
Let me know if you have found any updates like this for the toshiba 2032 &/or Audiovox Thera:

1) an update to the phone software that makes the speaker the microphone and the mic the speaker. I know mecanically they are the same, I KNOW software could solve this problem. With the speaker flop you could talk on it like a normal phone.

2) in addition to number 1, when the phone would be set to the feature of number one, the screen would not work unless you pressed o say,....the home button.

3) an update that makes it so you can keep the device in its case and answer a call by pressing the power button so you could answer the phone in the case and by the power button.

4) Is there a way that the WIFI could be installed into the Toshiba 2032?


AGAIN, I know all these updates are possible!!!! If they are out there let me know, if you guys have any ideas of who/how I could possibly get these custom made let me know!!!! I.E. - software companys that make custom software.

Been awhile since you posted this . . . I just bought a Toshiba 2032 and I'm looking for all the same things!

Just wondered if you ever got any answers for the updates you were looking for.

I know that SanDisk is selling a WiFi SD card now, that would work in your Toshiba to get WiFi access. It retails for around $99 and is available at most of the big online computer shops.

I agree, swapping the mic & speaker would be awesome, I dislike having to always use a headset if I want privacy. I tried just turning down the volume & turning the phone upside-down and talking that way, but the volume just doesn't go low enough.

I have also been searching for a way to make the vibrate go off when I get an appointment reminder -- the noises it makes are way to quiet for me to hear most of the time!
