HPC Explorer software

Does anyone know where this software can be obtained? I seem to have <ahem> misplaced the CD that came with my Velo 1, and I want to change the computer that it synchs with. Thanks!

It looked like the right one (and I sure appreciate the link!) but it's version 1.1 and didn't work on my Windows XP machine. :( I don't know whether the version 1.0 that came on my Velo CD would work under XP but I'm going to keep hunting for it.

I've helped out people with the same problem in the Netherlands. Just do this:

Download HPC Explorer 1.1 (in case you don't have this version) from the Microsoft site at:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=5b69f0a2-91d1-4568-b782-990cf78a37ca&DisplayLang=enDownload

And in XP make a network connection: a direct cable connection at 19.200 baud (host).

Your Velo 1 should be able to talk with XP.

Fortunately I'm no longer using the XP machine, but do you mind if I post your method (with or without crediting you, your choice) on my Velo stuff web page? (And an aside to the moderator: do you mind if I post a link to this discussion board on that page? There just aren't very many places left to discuss Velos.)

Seems that we have the same interest, only different locations. I'm selling Velo add-on's myself too. Especially re-engineered battery packs. I make them myself.
