Notifications stopped working- Help

I am having a problem with my HP720. The notifications have stopped working. No sound, message box, lights or anything. I have went into the options and checked the various alarms and they all make sound, but when I create a test appointment and set a reminder it never goes off. Any ideas?

Hi,

I have seen a similar problem with my own Jornada. I fixed it by making sure that the time on my PDA was a minute in front of the PC I synchronize with. This seemed to resolve the problem. The problem appeared to manifest when I told Activesync to synchorise clocks with my PC. Give it a go anyway, it may be worth doing a soft reset after you have put the clock back to a minute before your PC clock.

I don't know exactly why this worked, but it did!
