I am having trouble with active sync. When I attempt an active sync, half way through I get an error message informing me that:

"There was no response from your mobile device whilst checking for out-of-date appointments"

The device is then disconnected and if I try again I get the same.

It recommends soft reset which I have tried, I have even tried a hard reset neither of which have eliminated the problem.

Please help as I cannot complete an activesync session.

By any chance did you install the Resco Picture Viewer from the Axim CD onto your Axim?

If so, try deleting the file c:\Windows\picViewSync.dat from the Axim, soft reset, and try again.

I have installed the Resco picture viewer but I couldn't find the file mentioned (even when searching the whole c:/ drive)

Well, maybe upgrading the Picture Viewer will solve the problem then, if you must use the Picture Viewer app.

Hey thanks for the info, much appreciated. I thought from your first message you meant on the PC hard drive and not the axim. I have further pursued the link and am in the process of looking for an alternative picture viewer!!
