Based upon the combineIT cards from Expansys turning out to be cardbus and non-usable in my netBook, I ordered the Psion Dacom netglobal Gold Cards from expansys that others have recommended on here as a substitute.
Can anyone provide insight into what settings are necessary on the netBook for the card to function via Ethernet? I have selected the Psion Dacom Gold Card profile on the netBook, but I get no data throughput
Many thanks

I hope you got the 56K + LAN variant, since the LAN-only one do not work.

Hi, my settings for the card are:
Name whatever you want
Config DHCP
Hostname your host name, eg "Netbook"
(with my Cisco wirless card it doesn't matter what I put here, but with the wired connection it must be a name that I've "registered" with my broadband supplier otherwise I have to go through the broadband log-on proceedure every time)
Device Psion Dacom Gold Card
Options not available
with DHCP the Addresses adn Routing tabs will not be available and I've left the Advanced section alone

I have looked into this today. Are you sure you have the netglobal and not the LAN global card? They both work on the latest build but you have to select the correct device type from within the LAN setting on the Ethernet applet.
LAN global works with the Psion Gold Card device setting.
NetGlobal works with the Psion Dacom Gold Card setting.
