I was worried about the state of my battery so downloaded ChaDis and followed the instructions off the web site to the letter. A week or so later I noticed that the graph (monitored zone - black line) showed a drop from 70 to 40 over a period of 10 minutes or so. A day later the revo did not come on when the case was opened. Thinking I had low battery I plugged in the charger It straight away came to life and ChaDis showed 71% battery. This repeated itself over several days. Initially I thought perhaps the switch was faulty but neither tapping the screen or turning on from the keyboard worked either. Yesterday it went off and when I was able to connect a supply it took 15 minutes to come off of zero (as shown by the revo's own battery status screen) What is going on? Can anyone suggest what to do next? What I intend is to let it discharge, hard reset and recalibrate.

The 71% sounds like a false reading; the battery monitering software gets confused at times. However, if the revo's bateries were drained to a very low point, i.e. below the switch off point, then I would expect the battery level to show zero initially.

That seems a bit extreme for a first step. What I would do is let it discharge normally and then charge it for a long time - at least 6 to 8 hours. That should let the charge catch up to the presumably false charge reading.

If that does not work then you can try the discharge/hard reset/recalibrate.
