The 790 takes the MC-BA14A. But all three take the AA battery adapter BA10. So, shouldn't the 770 also work on the 790's battery, or have I misinterpreted something.... Rich Pilot 09-21-2002, 12:39 AM The AA battery adapter is only for using in a pinch, and is although it's compatible with all three, it's not the ideal battery to use for all three, including recharging, etc. Remember, the MP700 also used AA batteries (all the time), but that doesn't make it compatible with the 770, 780, and 790 batteries.
