i have just oredered the x5 and have a few questions.

i have a nokia 631i which has bluetooth and IR how easy is it to connect to the net through this phone and what number do i need to dial. I only have broadband accounts so do i need to get a dial up account of some type, any recomendations?

I would also like to set up a bluetooth network in my room how good would the x5 be at surfing the net and getting emails through this connection. Can the x5 be sync'd through bluetooth.

What port SD or CF would be the best for putting memory in. I don't need the fasterest or the cheapest i only ask because it seams that you can only do bluetoth throught the SD port and anything else used the CF port GPS, WiFi.

I also will need some screen protectors i have seen the ones on the dell site, are they any good, are there better/cheaper ones availabe in the uk and where from?

Foldup keyboard are the keys to small, do you need one, is it worth the cash.

thank you for your time and any comments

I thought that the Bluetooth adapter was CF, not SD. In fact, I think that the Axim does bot support I/O devices on SD. (I could be wrong about that, but can't find any definitive evidence on Dell's site). So if you are planning to use Bluetooth or WiFi or GPS, so far there are no SDIO devices that support it - only CF - so I would think that SD memory cards would be perfect for you, as your CF slot will be occupied.

I myself bought the Belkin ones sold on Dell's site and I think that they are fine. The one issue is that they are not a matte finish so they can be quite reflective if held at the wrong angle. I have managed to live with them, and prefer that to a scratched screen. But screen protectors are a matter of taste - what some people like others dislike, and vice-versa.

I love the foldup keyboard. They keys are definitely not too small, they have a nice feel, but there is one issue with key placement; the right shift key is as small as the up arrow cursor key, and located to the right of it. It is easy to hit the up arrow when you think that you are reaching for the right shift at first, but I got used to it.

Is it worth it? Hard to say; that depends on you. How much data entry do you plan to do? I use it occasionally but especially when I am concerned about accuracy (like typing passwords, for example).

However, one thing that I wish that I had known going in is that you still really need to use the stylus when you use the keyboard for general use. There is no consistent method of calling up the application menus with keystrokes. Some applications support "Ctrl-N" for bringing up the "New" menu, but not all of them do. So there are definitely some things for which you will need to use the sylus.

As for its value, here in the US they charge $69 when you order the keyboard with the Axim, but $99 afterwards as a seperate purchase. So if you did not order them together it is probably going to cost you more money.

As for your other questions, I do not use Bluetooth so I cannot answer them.
