Re Upgrade

Helllo,

I have some question regarding upgrade,

A) Can i proceed to AO3 upgrade without going to A02 upgrade?
B) Do i have to make a hard reset for my axim before I can ran the AO3 upgrade? or can I proceed without making a hard reset?
C)after I finish downloading the upgrade do i have to restore my backup or it will run smoothly without restoring anything?

I have heard on other sites that people have had problems jumping right to the A03 upgrade. It might be worth a call to Dell just to make sure. I personally did the A02 first, but that was before A03 was available.

You do not have to - the ROM upgrade does the hard reset itself programmatically when you install it. So you do need a good backup ahead of time.

You do have to restore it manually. The first time that you connect it will try to establish a new partnership - tell it not to and connect as a guest. The run the restore from the guest connection. When it is done, you should be able to disconnect, soft reset the device, and then reconnect with your old partnership.

Thank you very much for your help. I successfully upgraded my axim into an A03 upgrade even without going first thru the process of the A02 upgrade.
