I have had my z71 for about a week now. I do like it very much but I am starting to question the quality of it's construction overall. For example, I have started to notice that the back half (silver section) really squeaks and creaks when I am holding it. Also, on the bottom side where the shutter button is, I have started to develop very obvious scratches. This is obviously do to the slider mechanism from opening and closing to access the camera. The silver section/slider is quite slippery, smudges and scratches very easily.
These may be trivial things to some or even most. But, even at the "reasonable" price of $299, I would expect a little better quality and a better stylus with reset pin. I guess you can't have it all.
On a more positive note, the screen quality is unsurpassed by any Palm OS handheld to date IMHO. The camera is neat, fun and convenient. It takes pretty good pictures. The sound quality of the mp3 player with headphones is really good. Graffitti2 is ok once you get used to it.
What are your thoughts???
