Just got my first palm (actually VisorPro) and from reading forums and posts looks like Datebk 4 or 5 from Plimco is a must. Downloaded it, but it doesn't have a desktop application like the original datebook that came with the PDA. Is this because I haven't registered it yet or can you only do data entry from the PDA?

Not even the registered users can find the DateBk 5 desktop! It is funny that I have owned DateBk 3, 4 and 5 and in all that time I never noticed that there was no desktop. I think the answer is that I use my Palm as my primary tool and the PC is an accessory that I use principally to back up.

Are you aware of a utility that allows 2 users to maintain their own calendars and then sycronize when they are together?

Here is a link to a very interesting approach to this need.

WeSync (http://www.wesync.com/wesyncUSER/wesync/home/index.asp) is another option as well.
