I have Psiwin 2.3 and Insync Pro and InSync Pro(e) installed on my PC with Notes R5. When I try to synchronise (agenda & contacts) it reads my Notes files ok, and copies entries from my Psion into Notes - but will not copy any information from Notes R5 to Psion!
I have tried reinstalling all the software and even creating a new agenda file on the Psion to synchronise with, but to no avail.
Any ideas please!!!!!
Beyond my ken (I don't do sync), but if you've paid for InSync Pro I would go to the author for support if I were you.

Thanks. I have the troubleshooting manuals for Insync Pro & (e), but these do not cover this problem, which is why I resorted to PDAstreet.com

Did it previously work OK and just now failed, or has it never worked correctly for you?

It has never worked with Notes. We used to have MS office at work which synchronised ok, but I have never got it to work with Notes correctly. I think that I have the synchronisation set up ok as it reads my calender/contacts from my PDA and saves the changes in Notes, but does not update the files in my PDA with any new information.
Cheers :)

I'm afraid I don't know anything about Lotus Notes - the only synching I've done is with Outlook. I was just thinking it might be worth trying an update to PsiWin 2.3.3, since it has never worked with your current version.

hiya,
Its not the troubleshooting manuals I was suggesting - I was thinking that you should actually contact the authors of the software - you never know, this might be a well-known fault that they'd have an immediate fix for?

After a lot more tinkering, I have managed to sync the contacts with Notes 5, but still cannot sync the calender.
I think my email and calender on Notes are stored in one large file. Does anybody know whether this would be a problem?
I have looked through all the documentation and cannot find the details for contacting Insnc Pro authors. Does anybody know these?
Thanks for your help!
ah.
Having done a bit of web searching, it would appear that InSync Pro was written by Psion themselves. You could try looking through the FAQs at www.psion.com/mypsion, but I have a feeling that it will be hard to find any help from Psion on this one :(
sorry but i can't offer any other ideas
