SO.... I know that you can access the GPS info thats in the 7135 smartphone because I talked to a salesman in the sotre who said he was able to do it. But I didn't get a chance to ask him which mapping software he used. Anyone have any ideas on what to get? ( installed Rand Mcnally streetfinder for palm and it didn't recognize the GPS)

What's supposed to happen in June? Is Delorme going to release software that will work with the builtin GPS or will they have a SD GPS device?

Is there something on Delorme's site about this or do you have insider info?

Very interested as I like Delorme's products and was thinking about trying to get my Earthmate GPS hooked up to the phone. Would rather use the internal GPS or a SD GPS solution.

Has anything developed here.
I know that Kyocera does not offically support the 7135 for use with GPS software, such as, DeLorme, but is there a way to use it? I bought a special cable that was supposed to be able to connect my 7135 to my Earthmate GPS. The site is: http://www.thesupplynet.com/product...cfm?prodID=6852 "This will give a male connection that will allow for the connection of a GPS cable. Price: $39.95" I am having trouble getting the PDA to recognize my GPS antenna. Note, this was easy to with old palm pda. I have tried Solus 2.0 and Street Atlas 2004 Handheld. Any suggestions?

Not to be confused with the GPS locator which I think at this time is only usable as a 911 locator.
