Thanks kb244 05-12-2003, 03:43 PM Are you refering to Wired Ethernet, Wireless Ethernet ( WiFi ) , Bluetooth, or GPRS/GSM connectivity? Jeff B 05-12-2003, 04:50 PM I've been using a NetGear MA701 with my 3835 for 3 weeks - no problem. I'm networked to a Linksys 80211b wireless router. It worked right out of the box. peteops 05-12-2003, 04:59 PM No I mean that I bought the card and It doesnt fit on any slots on my compaq 3950. peteops 05-12-2003, 04:59 PM This is a wireless card I'm talking about. Netgear MA701 card. What type of card does a compaq 3950 take?? Jeff B 05-12-2003, 05:11 PM The MA701 is a Compact Flash (CF) sized card. IPAQs require that you buy an expansion sleeve to allow you to use PC-sized (like those in a notebook computer) or CF-sized cards (like the MA701) as modems and network cards. The only integrated card slot is for the SD memory chip. I selected the CF Expansion Pak Plus (the "Plus" means it includes a piggy-backed aux. battery as well), and I therefore use CF cards for extra storage and CF-sized cards as modems and network cards. Heads up - I've had 2 of these expansion sleeves crash. They've replace both at NC, but I still had to hard reset the device to recover. PDA Street
