Maybe I haven't broken my T|T's battery in yet (had it for a week) but I have noticed that many high action games (RifleSlugsII etc..) and especially ARM native games (GTS, ArmZX) drain the batteries incredibly fast. So fast that I ordered a 4in1 charger off of eBay so I don't run out.
About the charger, it's pretty cool. It's a hotsync/charger usb cable. But it also comes with a Car cig jack to usb adapter and a AC outlet to USB adapter. Can't wait until it comes, then I don't have to lug my cradle and it's wallwort around =(
I'll get back you you guys with some battery bench numbers, to see if my battery life is up to par.
Peace,

Yeah this is an interesting subject. My Tungsten is nearly always playing music in the background or playing fast games and it seems to run out shockingly fast (i.e 2.5hours).
GTS isnt arm native though. It runs on older palms. I have noticed a specific difference between arm and normal games. In theroy this shouldn't work.
If a BASIC game is written in ARM and the same basic game not written in ARM- the ARM games would use A LOT less processing power because the non-arm native code would need to run on PACE (Palm Application Compatibility Environment) emulator- thus taking up much more processing power.
A game making full use of non arm native code running on PACE i.e Phoinix, would make the battery run out just as fast as a game making full use of the processor with ARM native code.

Good point... Though I think that my battery life may have increased in the time that I have had the unit... Cause heavy games seem to drain it slower than they did.
Also, it isn't arm-native? Damn that is impresive.... So do you mean it will run the same on a Dragonball based unit? Like an T665 or a NR series????

Absolutely. It runs nicely on my Palm IIIc too! They are working on a high res version which may or may not be arm native. If it's going to be arm native, we're in for something special!
