I also am having a problem with a 128mb SanDisk SD card. I did try formatting it and it just hung there and I needed to do a soft reset. After several attempts the same thing happend. It does not recognize the card at all. It is also too late to send it back to Buy.com.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks

For those having trouble reformatting SanDisk 128MB SD Cards ... SanDisk will replace your card for free since they warranty their cards for FIVE years (http://www.sandisk.com/tech/rw_sd.asp).
SanDisk fixed a Palm compatibility problem with their first batch of 128MB SD cards in April 2002. The cards would simply hang up the system when formatted.
Hope this helps...

You may format the card in other device and use it with the Palm. This problem seems to be with format function only. I formatted my 128 Mb Sandisk SD in a Kodak Easyshare Digital Camera, then the Palm had no problem reading it.
