Alarms

I used to use (and still have) a Psion 5mx - when I set alarms it would play various noises "fanfare" etc very loud and continously for a few minutes so I heard it even if it was in a different room - hell - it would even wake me up for work.

Unless I'm missing a trick the Ipaq 3970 makes a very quiet "bling" and that's it !!!!!

Is there a way around this or a download to make the alarms more "alarming"?

SPB Pocket Plus is good; it has repeating alarms and many other useful features. You can find it at handago.com, Pocketgear.com, among other software sites.
