but does it fit on an Ipaq card because I already bought a MA701 from ebay and its not the right one. It says the MA701 is compatible with Type I and II slots now why doesnt it fit on mine??

The intel/xircom card in the 1st link is pcmcia card, the netgear MA701 is a compactflash card. You just need appropriate expansion pack sleeve for them, Hp makes both pcmcia and cf expansion packs for the ipaq.

You will not be able to buy a wireless card which fits the card slot on your IPAQ without buying an expansion jacket of some sort.

There is some talk of an SDIO IEEE 802.11b card in the future but it wont fit the IPAQ. PLease view the link.
