IPAQ with a Siemans wireless card

I was told I could use a Siemans Speedstream 1021 wireless pc card with an IPAQ and the expansion sleeve. I cannot get it to work and the power light does not come on. Any ideas? The card work in my laptop. Hopefully I haven't bought the card under the wrong instructions. I am using the Compaq WL100 driver like I was told.

Did all that and it still didn't work no power to the card and it did not recognize it in the slot like it does with other cards. I ended up ordering a Compaq WL100. I even talked to Compaq, installed the new ROM, did two hard resets all to no avail-still works in my laptop though.
